Artificial intelligence used to diagnose mental health diseases

Over the past few decades, mental disorders (depression and anxiety) have become a huge medical burden for people of all ages. On the other hand, machine learning and artificial intelligence have made significant progress. We aim to develop a cloud platform application and web server including mobile devices for mental health disease diagnosis. The cloud platform uses head pose, eye gaze, facial landmarks as the visual input, prosodic features as the audio input ,and language produced by patients as the text input to assess the patient's mental health status, which helps to diagnose symptoms of mental illness early and trigger clinical intervention when necessary. The platform as a service will be provided to organizations or individuals to improve the quality of life. We are currently cooperating with a Mental Hospital and have completed the analysis of 100 cases. The detection accuracy is more than 90%. The first software system is planned to be launched in 2021.
